Pterygium Surgery
Pterygium is a fibro vascular growth on the surface of the eye. The main cause is thought to be too much sun exposure. It is the body’s natural defence to protect the eye from harsh environments with high levels of UV rays and/or dust. Pterygium is usually harmless and non-cancerous but it is worthwhile considering surgery if it obstructs vision or you are conscious of the visual appearance of your eye.
Eye Health Check
Having an eye health test can catch problems before they develop and prevent permanent damage to your eyes or in the worst case scenario permanent sight loss.
